COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT
The University Luigi Vanvitelli in collaboration with the Institute of Genetics and Biophysics of the National Research Council, and ELIXIR-IIB, is pleased to announce the upcoming Software Carpentry workshop.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: Software Carpentry aims to help researchers get their work done in less time and with less pain by teaching them basic research computing skills. This hands-on workshop will cover basic concepts and tools, including program design, version control, data management, and task automation. Participants will be encouraged to help one another and to apply what they have learned to their own research problems.

Course date: July 3-5 2019
FEE: Free
A maximum of 25 candidates will be accepted in the course. Chosen participants will be notified by June 18, 2019; all information will be sent by email.
