The High Performance Computing and Bioinformatics Service in SZN arose from an idea of the President Roberto Danovaro strongly supported by the Director Vincenzo Saggiomo, who decided to give place to a group dedicated to the implementation of dedicated services and training within the institute.
The activities began in 2017 by the initial funds of BIOINforMA, a SZN flagship project that permitted the start up of the efforts.
Thanks to the help and the support of all SZN members, the Bioinformatics core of the Institute is definitely starting its activities in November 2017.
