miRnutum is a publicly available database designed by Dr. Carrella’s Lab in cooperation with the RIMAR-BAC unit (Bioinformatics, Computational Analysis and Data Management).
The database contains all the information about microRNAs (miRNAs) for Phaeodactylum tricornutum, a diatom. miRnutum is an interactive repository of the sequences of both hairpin and mature miRNAs.
In miRnutum you will find:
- information about the sequence composition of miRNAs
- structure folding of their precursor
- information about their expression profile according to environmental stressors
- information about predicted and validated transcripts they target
